What you get
- One web page with the document laid out page by page — fonts, images, tables and headers drawn by the SumDoc engine, with page numbers and zoom. It says “rendered by SumOffice” at the bottom and is honest about anything it did not draw.
- A link that works for anyone for 24 hours, and a download of the same page as a single .html file that opens offline with a double-click.
- Older .doc and .odt files are first read into a Word document; the page tells you what was carried (text and paragraphs) and what was not, before you share it.
Questions
- Do I need Microsoft Word or an account?
- No. The file is laid out by the SumDoc engine on our server and comes back as one self-contained web page that opens in any browser. No account, no email, nothing to install.
- Can I share it?
- Yes. The result has a link that works for anyone for 24 hours; after that the page is deleted. You can also download the page as a single .html file that opens offline.
- Can I edit the document?
- The page is view-only. To edit, open the same file in the SumDoc editor in your browser from the result, or in the free SumDoc app on your computer or phone.
