# SumSlide mobile SDK for Android

Edit `.pptx` presentations inside your own Android app: the SumSlide core runs in your app process via JNI (no
server, no network) and the editor page runs in a `WebView`. The document comes in and goes out as bytes.

## What is in the box

| Path | What |
|---|---|
| `jniLibs/arm64-v8a/libsumoffice_slides_mobile.so` | the core (JNI) |
| `assets/sumslide/` | the editor page (`mobile.html`, scripts, fonts) |
| `assets/sample.pptx` | a small deck to prove the integration |
| `bridge/com/sumoffice/slides/CoreBridge.java` | JNI class of the core — keep the package and class name: the library's JNI symbols are bound to them |
| `bridge/com/sumoffice/slides/SlidesHost.java` | the host: WebView, page from assets, bridge, document as bytes |
| `example/` | reference activity and manifest |
| `VERSION` | version and SHA-256 of the core and page |

## Steps 1-2-3

1. Copy `jniLibs/` to `app/src/main/jniLibs/`, `assets/` to `app/src/main/assets/`, `bridge/…` to
   `app/src/main/java/…` (same packages). `minSdk` 26, `arm64-v8a` only.
2. Open a deck and create the view:

   ```java
   SlidesHost host = new SlidesHost(activity, (name, bytes) -> { /* write; return where */ return name; });
   int slides = host.open("deck.pptx", bytes);   // not on the UI thread
   frame.addView(host.createView());             // UI thread
   ```
3. Saving (Ctrl+S, File ▸ Save) calls your `Documents.save` with the `.pptx` bytes. Call `host.close()` when done.
